Palindromes

Mrs Seath spotted a beautiful sunrise last week. It reminded her of a poem about mornings.
'Mornings' is a palindrome poem. It has a pattern of words that is reflected in the second half of the poem.
George and Jennah were inspired to write their own palindromes about the rain. It was tricky to find two-word phrases that would make sense when they were reflected.

The Toy Boat
Here is Katharine's narrative about a surprising find at the park.
She has chosen some really descriptive verbs and phrases, and has used dialogue to add interest. Have a listen and leave a comment on what you have heard.

Tariq's boat narrative
Tariq has written a really cool story about an adventure at the beach. We think it's interesting the way that Tariq has chosen to write his story in the first person (using 'I', instead of 'he'). It can help the reader to imagine what it was like for the main character.
